RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve final map of Carlsbad Tract 81-35.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad
Tract 81-35, a 14-unit condo project located at the north end of
Ocean Street, for conformance with the Subdivision Map Act and the
Carlsbad Municipal Code. The final map conforms substantially with
the Conditions of Approval and the tentative map as approved by
City Council on November 17, 1881, per City Council Resolution
No. 6792-1.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Developer has signed an agreement to pay 2% of the proposed
building valuation to provide future public facilities and has paid
Park-in-Lieu Fees of $9,856 into the Area 1 Park Account. Park
fees were $704 per unit based on fourteen (14) single-family units
i n Area 1.
