Adopt Resolution No. 7L70 quitclaiming a portion of an easement for sewer purposes.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
As a result of sewer design and construction, the southerly five feet (5') of the sewer easement located on Lot 42 of Shelter Cove, Map No. 5162, is no longer needed. The Property Owner is requesting that the City quitclaim the unused portion of the easement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Quitclaim of this easement will have no fiscal impact to the City.

RESOLUTION NO. 7670
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A QUITCLAIM FOR SEWER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Sol Brisa Ltd. has submitted a request for a
quitclaim of a portion of a sewer easement; said Quitclaim D
on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined it to be in the public interest to quitclaim said
easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the quitclaim conveying a sewer easement to S
Brisa Ltd. is hereby accepted.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause
original Quitclaim Deed to be recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of San Diego County, ltate of California, with the
appropriate Certificate of Acceptance attached.
