RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 767v, appointing a member to the Carlsbad
Parks and Recreation Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
The term of Parks and Recreation Commissioner Barbara Donovan expires in August, 1984. Barbara Donovan was originally appointed to the Commission in 1978 to fill an unexpired term and was subsequently appointed in 1980 to a full term on the Commission.
Other Commissioners are: Shirley Dahlquist, Norris Cochran, C. Scott
Wright, James Popovich and John Conti.
Copies of applications received in 1984 are attached for Council consideration.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION t CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE
WHEREAS, the term of Barbara Donovan expires in August,
1984;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve
as a member of the Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Commission, for
a term to expire in August, 1988:
Barbara Dmovan
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Zarlsbad City Council held on the 17th day of July ?
