ITEM EXPLANATION
The city Council, at its meeting of August 7, 1984, directed the City Attorney to prepare documents approving tentative may and planned unit development CT 83-32/PUD-62 on 51.4 acres of property generally located on the northeast corner of the
Calavera Hills master plan area.
As directed by Council we have revised Condition No. 20 of Planning Commission Resolution No. 2292 to delete the last sentence and to add provisions for the possibility of maintaining the recreation area which reads as follows:
"This area shall be maintained until such time as the site is developed as a school or residential development. If the site is not acquired by the school district within the time limits of the master plan and prior to the approval of any other
development for the site, the City Council shall

WHEREAS on July 11, 1984, the Carlsbad Planning
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING WITH CONDITIONS
Commission adopted Resolution No. 2292 approving tentative
map and planned unit development CT 83-32/PUD-62; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
August 7, 1984 held a public hearing to consider the
recommendations and heard all persons interested in or oppc
tentative tract map CT 83-32 and planned unit development I

WHEREAS, said tentative tract map and planned unil
development project has been declared to have a nonsignific
impact on the environment and a Negative Declaration, was
prepared, filed and approved by the Planning Commission on
1984 in satisfaction of the requirements of the City of Cai
Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1980 and the Califori
Environmental Quality Act
