Adopt Resolution No. vacating a portion of Carlsbad
Boulevard between Wa and Sycamore Avenue.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The City Council on August 21, 1984, adopted Resolution No.
7707, a resolution of intention to vacate a portion of msbad Boulevard between Walnut Avenue and Sycamore Avenue. The City Council set September 4, 1984, at the hour of 6
P.M. as the time and the City Council Chambers, 1200 Elm Avenue, as the place for a public hearing for all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation. The utility companies were notified.
Staff recommends that this vacation be conditioned to specify
that the entire area being vacated remain an easement for
utility purposes. The resolution so specifies.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this vacation will result in approximately 400 square feet of land to be returned to the tax rolls.
