Adopt Resolution No. 773,-5 accepting a gift from Mr. C.M. God
and directing appropriate letter of thanks.

from Mr. C.M. Godfrey for use by the Carlsbad Fire Department.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBA
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A SCANNING RADIO AS A GIFT FOR TH
CARLSBAD FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Mr. C.bf. Godfrey wishes to make a donation of
a Bearcat 160 automatic scanning radio for use by the
Carlsbad Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift
pursuant to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California
Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gife of the sea
radio for use by the Carlsbad Fire Department.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOTPED at a regular meeting of
City Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 4th dagi
September , 1984 by the following vote, to wit:
