RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Adopt Resolution No. 77g/ granting abutters rights of accec
Levante Street.
2. Approve Final Map of Carlsbad Tract 83-1, Monarch Villas.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering Staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad Trz
83-1, a twelve lot condominium project consisting of 120 units locatec
the northeast corner of El Camino Real and Levante Street. The final
conforms substantially with the conditions of approval and the tentat:
map as approved by City Council on April 5, 1983, per City Council
Resolution No. 7180 .
This project is a redesign of Lots 226 and 227 of Carlsbad Tract 75-5.
part of the final map access rights were relinquished along Levante
Street, except for one opening at Perrenne Place. Perrenne Place has
been vacated and this project is proposing an access opening further I
along Levante Street. The final map for Carlsbad Tract 83-1 relinqui:
the existing access opening along Levante Street. The resolution wou:
provide access along Levante Street at the new road location.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Developer has signed an agreement to pay 2% of the proposed buildi
valuation to provide for future public facilities. The Developer has
executed park-in-lieu fee agreement and security bond for $65,280.00.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING ABUTTERS
RIGHTS OF ACCESS TO A PORTION OF LEVANTE STREET.
WHEREAS, abutters rights of access to Levante Street were

except for one opening at Perenne Place, and 7
relinquished across Lots 226 and 227 of Map 8379, Carlsbad Tract 75-
8 WHEREAS, Perenne Place has been vacated by the City of Carl
9 and
10 WHEREAS, the owner has proposed a new access opening to Le\
