City Council adopt Resolution No.7f"d accepting the $100 donation from the North County Restaurant Softball Association.
ITEM EXPLANATION
The North County Restaurant Softball Association wishes to donate $100 to the Parks and Recreation Department. for their softball season during the summer months.
A letter of appreciation hill be sent to their Association.
This organization used our fields
FISCAL IMPACT
The $100 will be deposited in the general fund account for miscellaneous recreational activities.

RESOLUTION NO. 7800
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ACCEPTING A DONATION OF ($100) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the North County Restaurant Softball Association donated
One Hundred Dollars to the Parks and Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the City Council accepts the donation of One Hundred Dol'
($100) on behalf of the citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Coui
of the City of Carlsbad held on the 6th day of Nmmber , 1984 by
following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Mesnbers Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Wick and Prescott
NOES: None

Dear Ken,
I just wanted to let you know that. our first season of the North County Restaurant
Softball Association was a big success. I returned the key to the Levante Street Fj
the day after the season ended on September 11th. The entire league enioyed the use
the field. It is my hope that we will be able to use,the field again next season. 1
be contacting you again in ?lay 1985 to see if that will be possible.
I am enclosing a check for $100.00 from the league as a donation to the Carlsbad
Department of Parks and Recreation. I'm sure that you will be able to put the monej
toward a good use. Thank you once again.
