I. Approve Final Map of Carlsbad Tract 81-16, Unit No. 6.
2. Adopt Resolution No. 7p4 r accepting Grant Deed of a parcel
land for park purposes,
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad T
81-16, Unit 6, a 55 lot planned development project located east of Ra
Santa Fe Road, north of Olivenhain Road, for conformance with
Subdivision Map Act and the Carlsbad Municipal Code. The final
conforms substantially with the Conditions of Approval and .the tenta map as approved by the City Council on July 21? 1981 j per city Cou
Resolution No. 6620.
As a Condition of Approval of Tentative Map CT 81-16, the Develope:
required to dedicate land for park’purposes in accordance with the term
the La Costa Parks agreement,
Pursuant to the terms of that agreement, the Developer is submitting
Council acceptance a Deed for twice the required 0.436 acre thereby gi
a total dedication of 0.873 acre within the proposed Stage Coach
site.
The attached easement to the City of Carlsbad is necessary for
construction of required out of tract public utilities.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The increased need for City services resulting from this development
be offset by the payment of the Public Facilities’ Fee.

acres of land to the City of Carlsbad; said Deed is on file in the 01
the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined
in the public interest to accept said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed, attached hereto, conveying 0.873 acres
to the City of Carlsbad is hereby accepted.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the
Deed to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diegc
State of California, with the appropriate Certificate of AI
attached.
