RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. accepting an easement f
public access of a portion of Almaden Lane.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
As part of the design for a condominium pro,Qect by the Jocl
Club, a turn-around is being offered for donation.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Requiring dedications as a condition of development will Si
the City expenses in the future right-of-way acquisitions.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED,
WHEREAS, the Jockey Club Ltd. has submitted a Grant De€
veying an easement to the City of Carlsbad for public access
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has (
mined it to be in the public interest to accept said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed from the Jockey Club Ltd. , dat
January 10, 1985, conveying an easement to the City of Carl
public access purposes for a portion of Almaden Road, whick
file with the City Clerk, is accepted.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause
original Deed to be recorded in the Office of the County Rc
of San Diego County, State of California, with the appropr:
Certificate of Acceptance attached.
1 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
Carlsbad City Council held on the 22nd day of ~an~ary

BEGINNING at a point on the most Westerly extension of the
