Adopt Resolution No ._7J:'90 approving plans and specifications and
authorizing the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the
construction of the Police Firing Range.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The plans and specifications for the Po· ice Firing Range have
been completed. This project involves constructing a temporary
earth bermed firing range in Macario Canyon Park. The Police
Department has reviewed the plans and specifications.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $29,000.00. Funds
are available in the Police Firing Range Account No. 330-1810-
3159.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR TH~
POLICE FIRING RANGE -CONTRACT NO. 3159.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
necessary and in \:he public interest to construct the Police Firing Range;
and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor,
material, tools, equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or
incidental for said project, Contract No. 3159, have been prepared and are on
file in the Engineering Department of the City ~f Carlsbad and are
incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. The above recitations ar~ true and correct.
2. The plans and specifications as presented are hereby approved.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
directed to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, Notice to Contractors
inviting bids for the construction of the Police Firing Range in accordance
with the specifications hereinabove referred to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad held the 22nd day of __ J:_an_uary ______ , 1985, by
the following vote, to wit:
