ITEM EXPLANATION:
The City Council on February 5, 1985 adopted Resolution No. 7898, a
Resolution of Intention to Vacate a Portion of Park Drive between Adams Street
and Calavo Court. The City Council set February 19, 1985, at the hour of 6:OO
P.M. as the time and the City Council Chambers, 1200 Elm Avenue, as the place
for a public hearing for all persons interested in or objecting to said
proposed vacation.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, VACATING A PORTION OF PARK DRIVE BETWEEN ADAMS STREET AND CALAVO COURT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. That all publication and posting notices regarding the proposed
vacation of a portion of Park Drive between Adams Street and Calavo Court
pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 7898 have been given as required by
law.
2. That the City Council did hear the evidence offered by all persons
interested in said proposed vacation and does find from all the evidence
submitted that a portion of Park Drive in the City of Carlsbad, County of San
Diego, State of California, particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, is unnecessary for present
or prospective street purposes and does hereby make this order vacating said
portion of Park Drive.
3. That an easement for all existing utilities is excepted from this
vacation.
4.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
