As you are aware, the Specific Plan is due to expire on March 15, 1985 and CT 83-12 expires on July 27, 1985. It is our understanding these requests for extensions shou be coordinated and presented to the City Council simultane Therefore, it is imperative that both matters be presented to the City Council no later than the City Council meeting of March 13, 1985. Realizing the Planning Department is laboring under an increased burden in reviewing the General Plan, you noted that these extensions may be administratively proved priox to expiration, although submitted to the City Council subsequent thereto. Due to the importance of this project to my clients and ir the exercise of an abundance of caution, we would urge yoc in coordination with the Planning Staff, to make every effort to present these requests for extension to the Citl Council prior to the March 15, 1985 expiration date.
