RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 7'CJ.S-I , awarding the bid for a truck rrounted striping
machine to Unimasco, Inc.
rl'EM 'EXPLANATION
The 1984-85 Budget includes ftmds for a truck rrounted striping nachine for the
Streets Deparbrent. Specifications were developed by rrernbers of the Utilities/
. Maintenance staff and Notice to Bidders was published on March 6, 1985. Eight
resp:mses were. received, opened, witnessed and reoorded on March 20, 1985.
'!he lowest responsive bid was submitted by Unimasco, 25920 Belle Porte Avenue,
Harbor City, CA 90710, ln the anotmt of $48,116.87, plus tax, for a total of
$51;003.88.
'FISCAL IMPACT
'!he Streets Department capital outlay acrount includes $69,593 to cover the oost
. of the striping machine.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, california,
as follows:

CA 90710, is hereby acx:epted and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a purchase order for the purchase of a truck nounted striping
rca.chine in the ahount of $48,116.87, plus tax, for a total of $51,003.88.
