ITEM EXPLANATION:
Adjacent owners to development on Cynthia Lane have decided
improvements. This dedication will complete the street up
180 feet east of existing improvements.

Accepting dedications such as these will save the City expen
in the future right-of-way acquisitions.

WHEREAS, Richard and Marcella Gilbert have submitted a Grant Deed
an easement to the City of Carlsbad for Public Utility and Access purpi
Cynthia Lane; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined
in the public interest to accept said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the Grant Deed from Richard and Marcella Gilbert dated b
1985, conveying An Easement for Public Utility and Access to the City
Carlsbad which is on file with the City Clerk and is incorporated hert
reference, is accepted.
3, That the City Clerk is authorized to cause the original Deed
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, St
California, with the appropriate Certificate of Acceptance attached.
