O5 8 Adopt Resolution No. ^oVSi dedicating an easement for water service on portions of Orion Way, Impala Drive, Faraday Avenue and the Utilities/Main- tenance yard at the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center. ITEM EXPLANATION! As a condition of approval of the water service for the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center, we are required to dedicate easements within the project property as outlined in the Costa Real plat map, to ensure their accessibility for service and repair. The easements include the Impala Drive and Faraday Avenue connections to existing Costa Real water lines, and progress in a loop from one connection point to the other through the project. The water line as installed includes services for the Phase 1, 2 and 3 facilities of the project. FISCAL IMPACT; Funds are available in Account No. 330-820-1810-3006 to cover the plan check, inspection, and recording fees. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: EIA and CUP have been approved. EXHIBITS; 1. Plat Map and easements to be recorded. r 1 2 27 RESOLUTION NO. 8072 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DEDICATING EASEMENTS FOR WATER SERVICE AT THE CARLSBAD SAFETY AND SERVICE CENTER. 3 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad grants an easement to the Costa Real4 Municipal Water District for water service to the Carlsbad Safety and Service5 Center; and 6 WHEREAS, the City Manager and staff have determined that the aforementioned easement is in the best interest of the City; and8 WHEREAS, funds are available for completion and recording of said improvements and easements in Account No. 330-820-1810-3006; 10 H NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.13 2. That the Grant Deed to the Costa Real Municipal Water District, dated June 26, , 1985, conveying easements for water services to the Carlsbad15 16 18 19 MW Safety and Service Center which is on file with the City Clerk and is incorporated herein by reference, be processed forthwith. 3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the deed and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the Grant Deed to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of California.
