NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION
OF VARIOUS ALLEYS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA,

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of the reconstruction of various alleys in the
downtown area, Contract No. U/M-4, is complete. Direct the City Clerk to
record the Notice of Completion and release the bonds 35 days after recordation.

ITEM EXPLANATION
On May 7, 1985, the City Council awarded a contract for the reconstruction of various alleys to Palomar Grading and Paving, Inc. Escondido, Ca, in the amount
of $173.466.55. Actual work accomplished amounts
to $164.126.66.
to the Utilities and Maintenance Director.
There were no change orders.
The alley reconstruction has been completed and is acceptable
FISCAL IMPACT:

There are sufficient funds in account 001-840-5110-2410 for payment on the
project .

the Utilities and Maintenance project consisting of reconstruction of 17 Rwe

on which Palomar Grading and Paving, Inc. of Escondido, Ca
was the contractor, and Fairmont Insurance Company
was the surety, was completed.
