The resolution we have prepared carries forward the conditions of approval as recommended by the Planning Commission as modified by the City Engineer's memoradum of August 13, 1985 i the Council's directions at your meeting of August 20, 1985. You should review them to insure that we hae accurately reflected your intentions in the matter, in particular, with regard to the developer's obligations for the construction of Rancho Santa Fe Road from Olivenhain Road to Melrose Drive. APPLICANT: VISTA SANTA FE, AREA "B" CASE NO: CT 85-9/LCPD 85-1 WHEREAS, on July 10, 1985, the Carlsbad Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 2448 recommending to thc Council that Tentative Tract Map (CT 85-9) and La Costa Development Plan (LCDP 85-1) be approved; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad August 20, 1985 held a public hearing to consider the recommendations and heard all persons interested in or op~ Tentative Tract Map (CT 85-9) and La Costa Development Pla (LCDP 85-1 ) : and WHEREAS, the environmental review for said Tentat Tract Hap and La Costa Development Plan was completed in conjunction with a previous project, a Notice of Prior Cor was filed by the Land Use Planning Manager on March 22, l! These projects will add a substantial amount c traffic to Rancho Santa Fe Road which is already operating its design capacity. These four projects have been condit with interrelated conditions insuring that Rancho Santa FE will be improved from Olivenhain Road to La Costa Avenue E occupancy of any of the homes within the four projects and the City Council will determine the timing and extent of t improvements to be required for the remaining portion of E Santa Fe Road between La Costa Avenue and Melrose Drive p~ final map approvals.
