TITLE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR 1985 SLURRY SEAL
AND OVERLAY PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. U/M-6.

Staff recommends acceptance of the 1985 Slurry Seal and Overlay Program,
Contract No. U/M-6, as complete and requests the City Clerk be directed
to have the Notice of Completion recorded and to release the bonds 35
days after recordation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On May 21, 1985, the City Council awarded a contract for the 1985 Slurry Seal
and Overlay Program to Palomar Grading and Paving, Inc. in the amount of
$732,239.50.
approved for a total project cost of $969,321. The project has been completed
and is acceptable to the Utilities and Maintenance Director.
There were two change orders of $236,003.00 and $1,078.50
FISCAL IMPACT:
The project was included in the 1984-85 O&M Budget and add-back budget.
