RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the construction of Project No. 3168, Carlsbad
Boulevard and Poinsettia Lane intersection as complete.
Direct the City Clerk to have the Notice of Completion
recorded.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Construction of Carlsbad Boulevard and Poinsettia Lane inter-
section (Project No. 3168) has been satisfactorily completed.
The final contract amount is $181,197.15. This project was
completed $1,685.00 below the original contract amount of
$183,082.50 and no change orders were issued.
FISCAL IMPACT

Budgeted funds in the amount of $220,000.00 are available and
are sufficient to cover the final contract amount, design
costs and staff time. Ten percent (10%) retention will be
withheld until 35 days after the Notice of Completion.

ENGINEERING
To All Laborers and Material Men and to Every Other Person
Interested:
YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on September 19, 1985, the
Engineering project consisting of intersection and signal
construction of Carlsbad Boulevard and Poinsettia Lane on
which William A. Corn was the Contractor, and Great American
Insurance Company was the surety, was completed.
