ITEM EXPLANATION
The City Council at your meeting of October 1, 1985 directed t
office to prepare documents approving the above referenced
subdivision as recommended by the Planning Commission with extensive revisions to the conditions resulting from Council discussion of a memorandum from the City Engineer in that regl dated October 1, 1985. The resolution approving the project
attached. The City Engineer has prepared an exhibit to that
resolution which sets forth all of the--t?ew conditions necessai

The following conditions reflect the revisions of P.C. Resolution No. 8219 made by the City Council at its meeting of October I, 1985:
Add the following conditions:
1. The cul-de-sac of Meadowlark Ranch Road shall be designed in accordance with current City standards and as shown on the approved
tentative map (Exhibit A, dated August 1,
1985, revised September 27, 1985).
2. Prior to approval of the final map, the
developer shall provide for the construction of emergency access at the end of the
cul-de-sac and existing Meadowlark Ranch Road.
3. The intersection spacing of the access, as shown on Exhibit A, dated August 1, 1985, revised September 27, 1985, is approved
subject to final design approval of the City

5. Specific improvements of Rancho Santa Fe Road
standards, as shown on Exhibit A, dated August 1, 1985, revised September 27, 1985,

8. The project shall install, with Phase I of Development, a fully actuated traffic signal at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and
Rancho Santa Fe Road. Reimbursement may be available for a proportionate share of this signal as well as the signal at Melrose Avenue and Alga Road. The proportionate share
approval, and be no greater than 75%. shall be determined prior to final map
