ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEEDS
Adopt Resolution No. 2233 accepting grant deeds for street pur[
of a portion of Rancho Santa Fe Road and Calle Barcelona.
ITEM EXPLANATION
As a condition of approval of Minor Subdivision No. 691, Daon Corpor:
is required to offer for dedication 3,340 feet of right-of-way alonc
northerly portion of Rancho Santa Fe Road and 2,250 feet of right-of
(full street width of 84 feet) of Calle Barcelona.
This dedication of Rancho Santa Fe Road will result in the ultimate ri
of-way width of 107' north of Calle Barcelona and a width of 102' sout
Calle Barcelona. The additional 5' dedication required south of [
Barcelona is presently being processed by "Homes By Polygon".
The right-of-way described in this dedication is consistant witt
"Willdan Alignment Study" dated February 28, 1985. The 5 ' dedicatic
Polygon will result in the ultimate right-of-way per the Willdan report
FISCAL IMPACT
Requiring dedications as a condition of development will save the
expenses in the future right-of-way acquisitions.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GRANT DEEDS.
WHEREAS, Daon Corporation has submitted Grant Deeds conveying f
to khe City of Carlsbad for street purposes for the northerly PC
, Rancho Santa Fe Road and all of Calle Barcelona; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determir
be in the public interest to accept said Deeds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of tht
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deeds from Daon Corporaton, dated Septc
1985, conveying easements for street purposes to the northerly PC
Rancho Santa Fe Road and all of Calle Barcelona to the City of Carlst
