DESIGN REVIEW BOARD APPOINTMENTS
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Council adopt Resolution No. 83V7 appointing four members
to serve on Design Review Board.
ITEM EXPLANATION
In accordance with Chapter 2.26 of the Municipal Code, the Design
Review Board consists of five members, three of which shall be
members of the Planning Commission and two of which shall be
members from the Housing and Redevelopment Advisory Committee.
All five terms expired in October 1985 but due to numerous changes in the Planning Commission and Housing and Redevelopment
Advisory Committee membership, current Design Review Board
members agreed to continue serving until new appointments could be made.
John McCoy, member of Housing and Redevelopment Advisory Committee
has expressed a desire to be reappointed. Housing and
Redevelopment Advisory Committee will meet January 27, 1986,
to make a recommendation for one other member to serve.
With Planning Commission's recommendation, Council needs to
consider appointing the following representatives to serve on
Design Review Board: Housing and Redevelopment
Planning Commission Advisory Committee
Matt Hall Robert Holmes Clarence Schlehuber
John McCoy
(position to be filled
in February 1986)
All terms shall expire October 31, 1986.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, THE CARLSBAD DESIGN REVIEW BOARD. CALIFORNIA APPOINTING MEMBERS TO
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following persons are hereby appointed to serve as
members of the Carlsbad Design Review Board for a term of one
WHEREAS, the term of Design Review Board members Holmes,
Rombotis, Schlehuber and Marcus expired in October, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
year.
