RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Council adopt Resolution No. 8393 appointing one member to serve on the Design Review Board.
ITEM EXPLANATION
In accordance with Chapter 2.26 of the Municipal Code, the Design
Review Board consists of five members, three of which shall be
members of the Planning Commission and two of which shall be
members from the Housing and Redevelopment Advisory Committee.
On January 7, 1986, City Council appointed four members to serve
on the Design Review Board. Three members from the Planning
Commission and one member from the Housing and Redevelopment
Advisory Committee were appointed.
At their meeting of January 27, 1986 the Housing and Redevelopment
Advisory Committee unanimously voted to recommend Jerry Rombotis
to serve as the second advisory committee representative on the
Design Review Board.
All terms of Design Review Board appointments shall expire October 31, 1986.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPOINTING ONE MEMBER
TO SERVE ON THE CARLSBAD DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Design Review Board in
the category two members from Housing and Redevelopment
Advisory Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve as
the second member of the Design Review Board representating the
Housing and Redevelopment Advisory 'Committee, for a term to expire
October, 1986.
