RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Committee recommends adoption of Resolution
ITEM EXPLANATION
The City Council at your meeting of February 25, 1986 directed our
office to prepare a resolution revising the 1985-86 compensation plan for Council appointed officials as recommended by the Council Salary
Committee. In accordance with the recommendation the resolution will
revise the previously adopted compensation plan to provide that
effective January 1, 1986 the salary of the City Manager will be
$67,350 and the salary of the City Attorney will be $65,350. In
other respects the previously adopted plan continues in effect.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA REVISING THE COMPENSATION
PLAN FOR COUNCIL APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE
1985-86 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to make
adjustments in compensation for Council appointed officials,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the salary schedule for City Council appointed
officials effective January 1, 1986 shall be as follows:
City Attorney $2513.46 biweekly
City Manager $2590.38 biweekly
3. That in all other respects the provisions of
Resolution No. 8736 shall continue in effect.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meetinq of
the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California held on the
4th day of - March--- , 1986 by the following vote to wit: ---a-
