By motion, approve Final Map of Carlsbad Tract 83-21, Unit 2 ITEM EXPLANATION Engineering staff has completed checking the final map c Carlsbad Tract 83-21, Unit 2, a 56-unit residential projec locaked on Tamarack Avenue, for conformance with tr Subdivision Map Act and the Carlsbad Municipal Code. TI- final map conforms substantially with the conditions C approval and the tentative map as approved by the City Counci on January 3, 1984, per Resolution No. 7457. The City Counci approved an amendment to the conditions on December 17, 198 by Resolution No. 8304. A condition of the tentative map required the developer t obtain an off-site easement to install a portion of Tamarac Avenue., The developer has secured the easement and now offer it for Council acceptance. Another condition of the tentative map required the develope to dedicate Tamarack Avenue within the subdivision boundary The dedication was not included on the map when the map wa signed and notarized by the owners. To accomodate th developer, staff agreed to allow the developer to dedicake th street by separate document. This project has been designated as developing on "Exhibit A of Ordinance No. 9791, therefore it is exempt from th moratorium. FISCAL IMPACT The project has dedicated park land as defined in the Calaver Hills Master Plan. This project is estimated to generat sewer connection fees of approximately $56,000 and wate capital fees estimated are $62,720. The exact amount o public facilities fees are unknown until the applicant submit. applications for building permits.
