Staff recommends Council adopt Resolution No. fL/r/b- , accepting a bid and
awarding a contract to South Coast Asphalt Products, P.O. Box 218, Carlsbad,
California 92008 in the mount of $959,275.84.
ITEM EXPLANATION
On February 18, 1986, the City Council approved plans and specifications and
authorized the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the Street Overlay Program.
Four responses were received, opened, witnessed and recorded on March IO, 1986.

OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A BID AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT U/M-9
FOR THE 1985-86 STREET OVERLAY PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
1. That the bid of South Coast Asphalt Products, P.O. Box 218, Carlsbad,
California, 92008, is hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract for the 1985-86 Street Overlay Program in the mount of
