Review request to discuss issue.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Mayor Casler asked that this item be placed on the Council
Agenda for discussion.
The City Council at its meeting of March 18th heard testimony
both for and against the preservation of Hosp Grove.
If the Council believes this is an important issue for the
November ballot, we should take action on it without delay.
Issues are:
1. Shall we make it one of our goals to have a park on this site?
2. Shall we put it to the voters in November?
If the answer is affirmative on these two issues, methods of
financing can be studied in the next few months.
