RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the refund of the following fees:
Westana Builders $7,194.00
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The following fees have been collected by the City a~d should be
refunded to the appropriate parties:

FISCAL IMPACT:

$7,194.00
REASON
The Westana Builders paid. for
Park-in-Lieu fees on their
Building permits. They also paid
for the same Park-in-Lieu fees
on cash receipt #28082. T~ey are
requesting a refund of their
duplicate payment.
Any refund of fees reduces the amount of revenue available to the
city: however, the city may not retain fees collected in error,
collected for services which cannot be rendered, or collected with
the intention of using said fees for a deposit to guarantee the
completion of a task once the task is completed.
