5/20/86 1985-86 CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM IEPT. U/M CITY MGR~&E
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of replacement of various curbs, gutters and
sidewalks in the city, Contract No. U/M-5 as complete and requests the City
Clerk be directed to have the notice of Completion recorded and to release
the bonds 35 days after recordation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On January 21, 1986, the City Council awarded a contract for the replacement
of curbs, gutters and sidewalks to Silver Strand Masonrv and Cement Contractors
of San Diego, CA in the amount of $52,711.
tree stump removal was less than anticipated hence the total contract is
$51,611.

The pro.ject has been completed and is acceptable to the Utilities &
FISCAL IMPACT:
Sufficient funds are available in account number 001-820-5110-2470 for the
project.

Company was the Surety, was completed.
