RECOMMENDED ACTION:
No action is required.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
State law requires that the City Treasurer report to
the City Council on a monthly basis the status of the
City's investment portfolio. This report is presented
to Council each month reporting on investments held on
the first day of the month.
In summary, the City's investment portfolio as of
JULY 1, 1986 is as follows:

NOTE: Seapointe Savings & Loan was taken over by the FSLIC on or about May 30, 1986. The City's $100,000 principal investment, which matured June 11, 1986, has been returned in full. May 1986, interest in the amount of $878.33 remains outstanding.
The City holds a claim in liquidation for this amount.
