TITLE
1985-86 Street Overlay Program
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of the 1985-86 Street Overlay Program,
Contract No. U/M-9, as complete and requests the City Clerk be
directed to have the Notice of Completion recorded and to
release the bonds 35 days after recordation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On March 25, 1986, the City Council awarded a contract for the
overlay program to South Coast Asphalt Products of Carlsbad,
California. On April 1, 1986, the City Council approved a change
order for the project. Total cost for the project in the amount
of $1,103,250.36, which has been completed and is acceptable to
the Utilities & Maintenance Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There are sufficient funds in Account No. 001-820-5110-2410
for payment on the project.
