FINAL MAP CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 85-18
RECOMMEND
Adopt Resolution No. - 87 q2 portion of Hillside Drive, accepting and removing blocker strips on
Approve Final Map of Carlsbad Tract No. 85-18, Units 1 & 2.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad Trac
85-18, a 67 unit subdivision located on the south side of Tamarack Avent and west of Neblina Drive for conformance with the Subdivision Map Act ai
the Carlsbad Municipal Code. The final map conforms substantially with tt
conditions of approval and the tentative map as approved by the Cit
Council on December 10, 1985 per Resolution No. 8294.
This project is located in the northwest quadrant and shown on Exhibit "F
of Ordinance No. 9791 as in infill project and is therefore exempt from tt moratorium. This map was technically filed with the City in conformanc
with Section 20.12.100(d) of the Municipal Code prior to July 20, 1986 ar
therefore is not subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 9808.
The off-site drainage and sewer easements provides right-of-way fc
required facilities. The acceptance and removal of the blocker strig avails Hillside Drive as public street access to the project.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This project is estimated to generate sewer connection fees o approximately $67,000.00 and Park-in-lieu fees of approximately $52,528.0 s CL (67 single family detached at $784 per unit). The exact amount of Publi

CL building permits. The project should also generate Water Capital Fee 4

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GdANT DEED.
WHEREAS, Pannonia Investment Corporation has submitted a Gran
Deed conveying easements to the City of Carlsbad for drainage and sewe
purposes off-site of CT 85-18, Units 1 & 2; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determine
it to be in the public interest to accept said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c i
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed from Pannonia Investment Corporatior
dated July 31, 1986, conveying easements for drainage and sew€
purposes off-site of CT 85-18, Units 1 & 2 to the City of CarlsbE
which is on file with the City Clerk and is incorporated herein t
reference, is accepted.
