RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of the 1985-86 Slurry Seal Program
Contract No. U/M-12, as complete and requests the City Clerk
be directed to have the Notice of Completion recorded and to
release the bonds 35 days after recordation.

ITEM EXPLANATION:
On May 6, 1986, the City Council awarded a contract for the 1985-86
Slurry Seal Program in the amount of $131,940.11. Two Change Orders were issued on June 17, 1986, for $4,973.16 and on June 24,
1986, for $4,772.72; total cost $141,685.99. The two Change Orders
deleted Sierra Morena and added Elm Avenue from Donna Drive to
Pi0 Pic0 Drive. The work has been completed and is acceptable to
the Utilities & Maintenance Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There are sufficient funds in Account No. 001-820-5110-2410 for
payment of the project.
