Direct the City Clerk to have the Notice of Completion recorded and release the bonds 35 days after recordation. ITEM EXPLANATION Construction of the following portions of the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center have been satisfactorily completed per the Construction Manager and Architect: ORIGINAL CHANGE CONTRACT ORDERS TOTAL TYPE 3006-2A Tulsa Steel 3006-2D Bannister Steel 3006-4A Presser Concrete 3006-4b Fontana Steel $444,047 $30,350 $474,407.00 $102,261 $11,998 $114,259.00 $296,631 ( 1,779.36) $294,851.64 $ 97,910 (11,333.00) $ 86,577.00 Structural Steel Structural Steel Foundation & Slab Structural Steel The final project total for each contractor includes change orders handled administratively in accordance with Administrative Order No. 7 to cover necessary additional work. FISCAL IMPACT All contract amounts in total have been encumbered and those funds are available to pay the retainage. The five (535) percent retention will be withheld until 35 days after the filing of the Notice of Completion. EXHIBITS 1. Notice of Completion (4) for each contractor. 2. Letter from Koll Company.
