The Personnel Department in concurrence with the Purchasing Department has prepared a classification description and appropriate salary for a messenger position. The salary range recommended is $14,392.04 -- $17,037.54. There is a demonstrated need for a Messenger, and a direct cost-savings in this service. It is recommended that the position of Messenger and the costs related to the postion be added to the 1986-87 budget.
