Adopt Resolution No. 883 6 to summarily vacate Blue Whale Courl accept a Quitclaim Deed for relinquishment of access rights to 1 Avenue. 2. Adopt Resolution No. 88' 7 to quitclaim an easement for sewe: drainage purposes over a portion of Carlsbad Tract No. 74-21. 3. Adopt Resolution No. 6838/ accepting an easement for dra purposes over a portion of Carlsbad Tract No. 74-21. ITEM EXPLANATION Kaiser Development, owners of the subject property, have requeste above actions, Their intent is to vacate Blue Whale Court and consol the existing four lots surrounding Blue Whale Court into one large This would also require a realignment of the existing storm easement. The quitclaim of access rights allows the City to control dr: installations to two approved locations on Loker Avenue. The City Engineering Department has reviewed all documents and plai these actions and finds t'nem acceptable. The utility companies were notified of the vacation and have no objl to it as no facilities have been installed. FISCAL IMPACT 1. Requiring the new easement for drainage purposes now eliminate expenses in the future for right-of-way acquisitions. 2. Approval of the street vacation Will result in approximatel) square feet of land being returned to the tax rolls. 3.
