The 1986-87 Budget includes ftnds for the purchase of sixteen typewriters for
eleven City departments. The typewriters are neooed for new personnel am for
the replac~ent of old typewriters.
in accordance with Section 3.28.120 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code, Notice to
Bidders was sent to ten verrlors. Ten responses were received, openoo, witnessed
ard recorded on September 12, 1986. The lowest responsive bid was submitted by
Selectronic Typewriter Canpany, 3166 Midway Drive, Suite 111, San Diego, CA
92110, in the amount of $13,023.66, includirg tax arrl delivery.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the bid of Selectronic Typewriter Canpany, 3166 Midway Drive,
Suite 111, San Diego, CA 92110, is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Officer
ls hereby auttorii.ed to execute a Purchase Order for the purchase of typewriters
in the amount of $13,023.66, including tax.
