RECOMMENDED ACTION:
CITY MGR.&
Accept the street and storm drain improvements, authorize the City Clerk to
release bonds, and direct the Utilities/Maintenance Department to commence
maintaining the public improvements associated with Private Development No.
242 (Acacia Apartments).
ITEM EXPLANATION
The Developer has completed construction of public improvements to serve
this project consisting of the following improvements:
210 linear feet of 6” curb and gutter
1,025 square feet of 4” P.C.C. sidewalk
3,000 square feet of A.C. pavement
One Type “B” curb inlet
15 linear feet of 24” R.C.P. storm drain
One fire hydrant
One sewer lateral
One 1” water service
One 2” water service

TOTAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS: $19,382.50
The Developer requests the City to accept these public improvements. The
above mentioned improvements have been inspected by City Forces and found
to be satisfactory.
FISCAL IHPACT
The Utilities/Maintenance Department will be required to maintain the
public improvements. The value of the improvement is estimated at
$19,382.50.

YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on November 4, 1986, the
Engineering project consisting of Private Development 242 located
at 380 Acacia Avenue on which Blackman Construction Co. was the
Contractor, and Great American was the surety, was completed.
