The final contract amount of $339,420 includes four (4) Change Orders totalling $17,510 handled administratively in accordance with Administrative Order No. 7 for necessary additional work. The project purchase order No. 15440 should be increased a total of $12,896.80 to enable payment of final project costs including retention. This amount represents the difference between change order additions and bid item deletions or reductions in construction final quantities. The traffic signal system at the intersection of Faraday and El Camino Real is currently being installed under separate contract by another contractor. Installation is tentatively scheduled to be complete by December 12, 1986. FISCAL IMPACT: Funds in the amount of $522,000 have been budgeted in the current Capital Improvement Program budget for this project. Ten percent (10%) retention will be withheld until thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notice of Completion. That'the above recitations are true and correct, 2. That the construction of Faraday Avenue from Palmer Way to Orion Way is deemed complete and hereby accepted. 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, California is directed to record the Notice of Completion for said project. 4.
