RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the construction of the Las Palmas Parking Lot, Pr
No. 3231, as complete. Direct the City Clerk to have the N
of Completion recorded. Authorize the Director of Finan
close the project upon payment of all final project cost
claims.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Construction of the Las Palmas Parking Lot, Project No. 3231
been satisfactorily completed. The final contract amou
$29,184.06 includes one (1) Change Order for $4,251.84 ha
administratively in accordance with Administrative Order for necessary additional work.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds in the amount of $35,000 have been budgeted an
available to cover the final contract amount. Ten percent
retention will be withheld until thirty-five (35) days afte
filing of the Notice of Completion. A summary of the pr
funding is as follows:
Project Construction $29,184.06
Project Design, Contract Administration,
Soils and Compaction Testing 500.00
Total Project Costs $33,684.06 (e

YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on December 20, 1986
the Engineering project consisting of construction of the Las Palmas
I Parking Lot 9 Project No + 3231
on which South Coast Asphalt dba Sully-Miller Canstruction Company
was the Contractor, and Seaboard Surety Company
was the surety, was completed.
