RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 9017 accepting a Grant Deed for
rater line purposes.
ITEM EXPLANATION
As a condition of approval of PD-286, Cardon Meqdows Develop-
ment Co. the owner is required to offer for dedication an
easement for the installation of water lines.
FISCAL IMPACT
Requiring dedications as a condition of development will save
the City expenses in the future right-of-way acquisitions.

A strip of land being 15.00 feet wide, lying 7.50 feet on each side
measured at a right angle and parallel with the following described
centerline:
Commencing at a point on the Southerly boundary line of said lot, said

conveyed by the deed or grant dated January 30, 1987

to the City of Carlsbad, California, a municipal corporation,
is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California pursuant to resolution No. 9017 , adopted
on April 14, 1987 , and the grantee consents to the

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
2 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED.

4 WHEREAS, Cardon Meadows Development Co.haa submitted a Grant
5 Deed conveying an easement to the City of Carlabad for water line
6 purposes over a portion of Lot 9 of Map No. 10330; and
7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlabad has ~
8’, determined it to be in the public interest to accept said Deed; ~

I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ~
10 of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
11 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Grant Deed from Cardon Meadows Development Co., ~
dated January 30, 1987, conveying an easement for water line
purposes over a portion of Lot 9 of Map No. 10330 to the City of
15 Carlsbad which is on file with the City Clerk and is incorporated 1
16 herein by reference, is accepted.
