RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve by minute motion:
1. The City Council hereby appoints Council Member Larson as a primary
member on the Encina Joint Advisory Committee.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The Encina Joint Powers Agreement provides that Carlsbad will have
two representatives on the Joint Advisory Committee, and an alternate
for each such representative. At its March 3, 1987 meeting, the City
Council appointed Mayor Lewis and Council Member Mamaux as primary
representatives, and the City Manager and City Engineer as alternates.
With the election of Mr. Larson, the Mayor is recommending that
Mr. Larson be appointed to the Joint Advisory Committee. All other
appointments will remain unchanged.
