RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize Council Members Larson and Mamaux to attend the League
of California Cities 89th Annual Conference in San Fancisco,
October 4--7, 1987.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The League of California Cities is holding its annual conference
in San Francisco, October 4-7, 1987. This Conference combines
education with policy development. All Conference sessions are
designed to be instructive and practical, and a number of them
will serve to develop and confirm the official policies which will
guide the League as it represents cities' interests in the year
ahead.
At its meeting of July 28, 1987, Council appointed Council Member
Larson to act as the voting delegate and Council Member Mamaux to
act as alternate at the League Conference.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds for this conference were budgeted in the 1987-88 City
Council travel budget.
