R/AG UNDERGROUND UTILITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTMENT CITY All CITY MG 1 RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. 7232, appointing one member to the Underground Utility Advisory Committee of the City of Carlsbad. ITEM EXPLANATION: The Underground Utility Advisory Committee is composed of the following seven members, as provided for by the City of Carlsbad policy on undergrounding of utilities : City Engineer Planning Director Pacific Telephone Representative SDCEE Representative Planning Commission Chairman Cable Television Representative Member-at-Large (4-year term) The last person appointed to serve as the member-at-large was Gordon Baker, whose term expired December 31, 1983. Reverend Baker has filed his application with the City Clerk, and is again willing to serve on this committee. There are no other applications on file for this position. EXHIBITS: 1. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4073 authorizes the appointment of one mc by the Mayor with consent of Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Ci Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct; 2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve as a me1 of the Underground Utility Advisory Committee: Gordon Baker , for a term to expire December 31, 1990.
