RECOMMENDED ACTION:
This Agenda Bill is an Information Item for the City
Council.
ITEM EXPIANATION
The attached time frame sequence chart is Staff’s best
estimate for actions necessary to determine the timing for
the ultimate construction of the realignment of Rancho
Santa Fe Road.
This time frame is predicated upon the La Costa Ranch
Company and MAG Properties reaching an agreement on the
alignment of Rancho Santa Fe Road as it affects their
holdings. If this agreement results in the City having to
take some actions, then processing could not begin until
that has been accepted by the City Council. Once Council
acts, staff could begin processing the La Costa Master Plan
and the MAG site development plan.
The processing of the Local Facilities Management Plan for
Zones 11 and 12 will be unaffected by this agreement
between the property owners and the City.
FISCAL IMPACT
Application processing is offset by appropriate fees.
