RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive a verbal report from Mayor Pro Tem Kulchin on the status
of the meeting of November 10, 1987 with U. S. Army Corps of
Engineers personnel concerning Carlsbad beach erosion. No formal
Council action is required.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On November 10, 1987, Mayor Pro Tern Kulchin, Carlsbad Beach Erosion Committee Chairman Mario Monroy, and City staff will meet
with representatives of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los
Angeles District, at Carlsbad City Hall and discuss the status of
beach erosion in Carlsbad and the Corps of Engineers# involvement
in current and future studies along Carlsbad's coastline. Mayor
Pro Tern Kulchin will make a verbal report to the City Council summarizing this meeting as an information item.
