RECOMMENDED ACTION:
QUITCLAIM OF 20’ WATERLINE EASEMENT
Adopt Resolution No. Pp-30 quitclaiming an easement for water purposes over a portion of Lot 1 Block B of Shangrila Tract (Map 31
ITEM EXPLANATION
Mr. and Mrs. Bonomi have requested quitclaim of a 20’ wide ease across their property. The 20’ wide waterline easement was origin granted to Oceanside Mutual Water Company. The City has bo Successor in Interest and the easement is no longer necessary. subdivision, Shangrila Tract (Map 3179) has been developed over easement. To date this is the first request to quitclaim a portic the easement.
Utilities and Maintenance Department has indicated the facility been abandoned (Buena Vista Reservoir) and this line is no long€ use.
As a condition of this quitclaim, and the applicant’s building pel the waterline will be removed or filled with concrete slurry.

RESOLUTION NO. 88-30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING QUITCLAIM FOR A WATERLINE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, John R. and Mary Jane Bonomi have submitted a req
quitclaim of waterline easement over a portion of Lot 1 Block B of '
Tract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined
in the public interest to quitclaim said easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitation are true and correct.
2. That the Quitclaim Deed conveying waterline easement over i
of Lot 1 Block B of Shangrila Tract to John R. and Mary Jane Bonomi, wh.
file with the City Clerk and is incorporated by this reference; is apprc
3. The Mayor is authorized to execute the deed and the City
hereby authorized to cause the original Quitclaim Deed to be recorde

The Carlsbad City Council at its meeting of February 9, 1988, approved
the quitclaim of a waterline easement lying within Lot 1 in Block B
of Shangrila Tract.
Enclosed is the original Quitclaim Deed from the City of Carlsbad to
John R. & Mary J. Bonomi for you so that you may have it recorded.
Please note that this document must be recorded in the County of San Diego.
