RECOMMENDED ACTION:
TITLE:
CITY ATTY 1986-87 SLURRY SEAL PROGRAM

Staff recommends acceptance of the 1986-87 Slurry Seal Program,
Contract No. U/M-15, as complete and requests the City Clerk be directed to have the Notice of Completion recorded and to release the bonds appropriately.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On August 4, 1987, the City Council awarded a contract for the
1986-87 Slurry Seal Program to California Pavement Maintenance Company, Inc. in the amount of $218,776.67. Actual cost of the
program was $205,816.25, which was due to deletion of areas.
The program has been completed and is acceptable to the Utilities & Maintenance Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There are sufficient funds in Account No. 001-820-5110-2412 in
the amount of $1,363,992 for payment on the project.

Utilities & Maintenance project consisting of the 1986-87
Slurry Seal Program on which California Pavement Maintenance
Company, Inc. was the Contractor, and The American Insurancy
Company was the Surety, was completed.
