TITLE: AMENDMENTS TO THE PART-TIME SALARY DEPT. HD.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
City Council adopt Resolution No. rr-sq , amending the salary schedule for part-
time employees.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Several departments have requested that official job titles and salary ranges be added to the part-time salary schedule. The following modifications have been recommended.
1. Add the positions of Planning Aid I at range 7 and Planning Aid I1 at range 10. The Planning Department has a need to hire part-time employees to assist with the current workload.
2. Add three clerical positions to the schedule. There are no official job titles or salary ranges established for part-time clerical workers. The proposed positions are File Clerk at range 1, Clerk at range 12, and Typing Clerk at range 20. These additions will provide the flexibility needed in establishing part-time clerical workers' wages.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with these changes. staff is included in each department's budget. The funding for part-time
